Marcus' Easy-Peasy Man's Chocolate Pots

You won’t believe how little effort this easy-peasy pudding takes – even your dearly beloved could manage to knock these together.  It’s a fab choc-fest that’s even low-calorie too!  Well, low-calorie is a comparative term.  You won’t explode after it, lets put it that way.  Unless you eat two, of course.

Enough for 6 little pots
Little pots or glasses

What you need:

200g    Dark continental chocolate
Juice and zest of 1 orange
2 x 200ml low-fat crème fraiche – but you can go the whole hog if you like
100g    White chocolate

They’ll be done before you know it:

  • Put the dark chocolate and orange juice in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.  Stir until the chocolate has melted.  Allow to cool.
  • Grate zest from orange.  Mix with the crème fraiche.
  • Stir in the cooled chocolate mixture.
  • Pour into little pots.
  • Grate the white chocolate and sprinkle over.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour.
  • How easy was that?

Serve with longue du chat or amaretti biscuits.
